Kaleida 34

Entry: Year 1

My name is Jill. I am 6. Im going to space camp! Mom sayz Kate cant come with me. That makes me sad.

Entry: Year 2

This is a long camp! We've been on the spaceship a long time. We learn a lot from Ms. Jones. The hole camp is 30 kids. I thought that was alot but mom said in her eemail that its not!

Entry: Year 3

I want to go home. We learn a lot about space on the ship but I miss mom. My friend Tessa says her mom told her she was only gonna camp for a week! Mom never told me how long and I never asked her. I asked Ms. Jones if I can go home and she says we are to far.

Entry: Year 4

Today we learned about a planet called Kaleida 34. Its gonna save us! Its just like Earth but 20 years away. Mom emailed me! Kate turned 4 and can talk good now! When I get back from space camp we will talk.

Entry: Year 5

Ms. Jones is the only grownup but she sometimes cries. Us kids pretend we don't see because that would embarrass her.

Entry: Year 6

Ms. Jones cried again today. She said we are heroes. I don't get why.

Entry: Year 7

I forget what Earth is like. Ms. Jones mentioned Kaleida 34 is going to feel warmer than Earth once we get there, eventually.

Entry: Year 8

I don't think I'm coming back from space camp.
