Author
Sue Burke
Ten years ago, Sue Burke moved to Spain with her husband to learn another culture and the language of Cervantes. She was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and lived briefly in Austin, Texas--not long enough, though it improved her somewhat, y'all.
While still in high school, she landed her first paid writing job as a journalist, and began writing fiction two decades later--in science fiction, naturally, which has always been Sue's favorite genre. Her first novel, which is about a human colony on a distant planet with sometimes overly helpful flora and fauna, will come out in 2011. You can keep track of Sue Burke's writing at her website, www.sue.burke.name
