This story came to me from watching a group of coworkers challenging each other to perform idiotic stunts to impress one another. My friend and I jokingly wondered if monsters would also behave so recklessly, were they to exist, and instantly my mind went straight to vampires. After all, they're the monsters with the most well-defined weaknesses. If I were a vampire, I just know I'd be daring myself to eat extra garlicy pizza.
