Laura E. Goodin, an American living in New South Wales, Australia, spends her time writing, doing theatre, and attempting to be as much like Xena, Warrior Princess as possible (her horse finds this most trying). Her husband is a composer and her daughter is an actor, which makes life hectic but exhilarating. She attended the 2007 Clarion South workshop, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in creative writing from the University of Western Australia.
